Western Son Piney Woods Blueberry Vodka, Texas, USA
This one’s pretty special, guys.
Remember, sometimes an ending is just a new beginning. This was the case for Western Son Distillery guys who left their corporate careers and set out in Pilot Point, Texas in a 30,000 square foot building that used to be The Old Panty Factory. Their yellow corn comes from the Midwest and Texas and they use water from a local aquifer to make their Spirits in column and copper pot stills. Plus, a portion of their profits goes to the Peter Burks Unsung Hero Fund, which is a non-profit organization providing care packages to deployed military.
Western Son Blueberry Vodka is the brightest blue Vodka you’ve ever seen. Distilled 10-times in their 20 ft. column still, it’s one of the smoothest you’ve tasted, too. Greeting you with aromas of ripe blackberry and raspberry, it’s sweet with lots of blackberry flavors on the palate, too. The folks at the 2017 SIP Awards thought it was pretty special, awarding it Gold.
