The Lost Explorer Mezcal Espadín is a small batch, authetnic mezcal, made from 100% Espadín agave. The most common agave variety, used for Mezcal, it has sky-reaching leaves and it must grow for 5-8 years before it's harvested – for this Mezcal, it was harvested at 8 years at peak ripeness. This subtly sweet and herbaceous expression is adored for its well-balanced palate with notes of chopped agave, mesquite, sweet red apple and ripe fruits. The Lost Explorer Mezcal Espadín was awarded Gold at International Spirits Challenge, Gold at San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Gold from International Spirits Challenge, Silver and 91 points from International Wine and Spirits Competition as well as 4.5 Stars Excellent from Difford’s Guide.
