Condesa 'Clasica' Gin, Mexico
Condesa 'Clasica' Gin, Mexico
A fragrance bomb of a Gin with a delightfully complex palate and a truly unique list of exotic botanicals… oh, and it’s made in Mexico City.
In the heart of bustling Mexico City there are two famous neighborhoods — Condesa and Roma. They are each an old-world oasis of trendy architecture and design. Condesa Gin is named after this respite. Founded by an all-woman team, Condesa Gin (or Ginebra) produces a pair of fragrant Gins influenced by the botanicals and traditions of Mexico.
Condesa Clasica Gin is a bit of a misnomer. Sure, it is a very well-made Gin in the classic dry style. But in addition to the more traditional botanicals of juniper, coriander, lavender, rosemary, cedron (luisa, or lemon verbena), lime zest, and orange zest they have added palo santo (holy wood, bursera graveolens), sage, jasmine, myrrh, and elderflower. So yes, you will instantly recognize a classic dry style, but you will also be greatly pleased with the bouquet of a new, modern Gin with some delightful surprises on the palate.
