Founded in 1829 in Aÿ by Hennequin de Villermont, Paul Renaudin and Jacques Bollinger, the Bollinger Champagne house is still run today by members of the Bollinger family, who (in a feat rarely seen in the Champagne world) owns almost 100% of its vineyards.
