Once upon a time a regular at Royal Navy ships, this is one intense and bold bottle.

Right there on the cobbled streets of the Plymouth harbor lies an old building that is said to have been built in the early 1400s. Once supposedly a monastery, the Plymouth Gin Distillery, also known as the Black Friars Distillery, has been in operation since 1793, making it the oldest Gin distillery in England. It is there that Master Gin Distiller Sean Harrison crafts delicious Spirits using their 200-years-old recipe that is passed down verbally to each new Master Distiller.

The name Navy Strength Gin is pretty straightforward. For almost two centuries, no Royal Navy ship left port without the grain Spirit, bottled at precisely 114 proof – benchmark strength for a Spirit to ignite gunpowder. Featuring 7 botanicals (the ratio is obviously a secret), starting with juniper berries, coriander seed, orange peels, lemon peels, angelica root, green cardamom and orris root, this is an intense, bold and aromatic bottle. Batch distilled in original Victorian copper stills, this one's collected so many Gold Medals, it would be boring to list them all.
