Scotts do know how to make Vodka too
The Stirling family has been farming the Arbikie family estate in the Scottish Highlands since the 1920s. Four generations of the family have gotten to know this land that is constantly transformed by powerful seas and the turbulent weather inside and out, and they worked with it to grow the most premium crops. The fourth generation, though, is a true difference-maker. Brothers Iain, John, and David that have been raised by the farm and the stubborn lands, found a way to make those crops even more delicious. Even though they chose different careers initially, they returned to the farm in 2013 to open Arbikie Highland Estate Distillery, a Gin, Vodka, and Scotch Whiskey distillery, made almost exclusively (90%) from the farm’s crops.
Arbikie Tattie Bogie Vodka is an amazing Spirit, one that has put Scotland on the map of Vodka-verse almost instantly. This is Scotland’s first potato Vodka and is made from three different kinds of potatoes: Maris Piper, King Edward, and Cultra potatoes, all of which are grown on the Arbikie family estate. Since the founders are long-time farmers, they know just when to pick the potatoes to preserve their creamy character in Vodka, making it velvety smooth and creamy. Made with the field-to-bottle method, this exceptional Vodka is filled with subtle flavors so it is best served simply with some soda. This Spirit is bottled at an ABV of 43%.
