The 2017 release is no exception ― distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2017, it was crafted from 72 hand-picked barrels of straight rye, all of them distilled from Minnesota rye, Kentucky corn, and North Dakota malted barley. After spending more than 6 years in #4 char American oak casks, the whiskey was bottled at 127.2 proof with prominent fig, allspice, and cinnamon notes.
