A light Tropical White Rum in a Moonshine bottle.
Dented Brick Distillery is named after the homestead of Hugh Moon — one of Utah’s original distillers. The old guy dies in a blazing gunfight that left impressions in the bricks of his house. Some of those "dented bricks" were transferred to the new distillery building and gave it its name. The distillery was founded in 2012 by Marc Christiansen and a group of his friends — all experiences businessmen and Spirits lovers. They have a wide range of award-winning, (so far) un-aged Spirits with more on the way.
Dented Brick Distillery has developed a wide range of Spirits — from Gin to Rum to Vodka, and back again. Antelope Island Rum was their very first Spirit release and it’s make from a unique combination of BOTH green sugarcane and molasses from Louisiana and brought to proof with their most important ingredient — artesian, limestone-filtered water from their own well. And this new-make White Rum has been turning heads and winning awards across the country.
Smartass Corner:
Salt lake City is named after — you guessed it — the Great Salt lake. It’s a large, natural lake with no outflow that generates the higher salinity. Antelope Island is the largest island in that lake.
