Collective Arts Brewing Rhubarb & Hibiscus Flavoured Gin, Canada
A hibiscus- and rhubarb-forward Gin, embellished with art.
Collective Arts is a sort of an artsy hybrid. They bring together the world of craft beverages and the talents of emerging artists around the world. How so, you ask? Well, they offer beverages from craft distillers in bottles, adorned with labels, created by emerging artists. The labels are limited works of art, but the Collective Arts folk make sure to pay just as much attention to the content of the bottles. Their mission is to pushthe boundaries of what Spirits can and should be all while still respecting tradition.
A small batch gin, Collective Arts Rhubarb & Hibiscus Gin was crafted with generous amounts of rhubarb and hibiscus on top of the other botanicals, including juniper, coriander, fresh orange peel, fresh lemon and lime peel, ginger, and orris root. All the botanicals get a chance to shine through on the juicy, floral and fresh palate since they’re infused through maceration and vapor infusion. And what about the funky label? The art piece is the work of Curiot, an innovative art project from the city of Morelia Michoacan that began in 2007.
And BTW, the Gin’s been showering in awards such as a Silver Medal at 2021 London Spirits Competition, Bronze at 2021 World Gin Awards, Gold Medal at 2019 SIP Awards, Silver at 2019 San Fran World Spirits Competition, and the list goes on…
