Casa Maestri Reserva de MFM Tequila Blanco, Mexico
Casa Maestri Reserva de MFM Tequila Blanco, Mexico
A traditionally-made Blanco from a family-owned business.
Casa Maestri is a family business that was founded in the heart of Jalisco, Mexico, in 2008 by Michael and Celia Maestri. But the story of the most awarded Tequila distillery in Mexico started way back: in 1951, actually, when the family of Mr. Jose & Celia Villanueva moved from a small town called Santa Ines, Michoacán, to Cordoba, Veracruz, to establish Licores Veracruz Liquor Distillery. Today, they’re one of Mexico's largest exporters of Tequila and if you haven’t tried their offerings yet, you’re definitely missing out.
Casa Maestri MFM Tequila Blanco is an authentic Tequila made with traditional methods from 100% blue Weber agave. The agave hearts are slow-roasted and then put in stone ovens for 36-54 hours before they’re carefully ground to preserve only the sweetest notes. Since it’s made from a combo of Highland and Lowland agaves, this is an incredibly balanced Tequila with fruity notes and citrus flavors that linger on the silky palate. Sip neat, pour over rocks, or make yourself a tasty Margarita.
